A not-so-typical Free State girl who, after jumping into a moving combi to spend 7 days covering the solar race (in a single set of clothes), was awarded the SA Guild of Motoring Journalists’ bursarship. Now she spends a month at a time at various motoring publications, driving test cars and showing up late for meetings because she’s been tailing another R8/Maserati/XKRS/Anything-with-wheels-that-grunts. She’s got a degree or two, a poodle that goes on road trips, and an insatiable appetite for raunchy cars with big bonnets.
