Hans Krygsman

Hans Krygsman (73) has worked for over 40 years, mostly as regional manager, for railway construction and maintenance companies. He has a diploma in mechanical engineering. In addition to South Africa, he has work in a number of African countries and also spent time in Europa researching various machines for the companies. A large variety of highly sophisticated and powerful engines are used in the rail track machines, from single cylinder to V12 and bigger also including petrol, diesel and two stroke, etc. After retiring in 2004, he was involved in training machine staff in the RSA and various African countries. In addition to work experience he has always been interested in cars and engines and has restored number of cars. Some of his more exotic restoration projects include a BMW Isetta 300 (1958) and a 700 cc Moto Guzzi (1969).
