Alabama-based engineering company APR is one of the world’s largest tuning companies for German cars. Specialising in Volkswagen Group products, including VW, Audi, and Porsche (together with Seat and Skoda) this tuning house is responsible for some of the neatest performance upgrade solutions, including ECU and turbo kits in the business. There’s not only a distinctly clinical German feel to their workshop but to our surprise also a few South African flags floating around the place.

In this video US-based YouTube car nuts Drive take an APR-tuned Audi TT RS for a spin. Featuring a stage three turbo upgrade this particular TT RS delivers a staggering 418 kW at the wheels – and sounds phenominal.
