Sauber Cuts An F1 Car In Half For Awesome Demonstration [Video]

This video was two years in the making, but we are extremely grateful to the Sauber F1 Team for taking the trouble to surgically split one of its Formula One cars in half in order to give us a better understanding of how these awesome machines operate. In the clip, Sauber’s chief designer Matt Morris explains the inner workings of a Formula One car, while literally being able to point to each critical component. Driver Sergio Pérez is also on hand to demonstrate where he fits into the puzzle.
