It’s refreshing to see some manufacturers allow some creative freedom once in a while and, although the partnership with the creators of the Walking Dead television series is an unexpected one, it ranks high on the comic fan’s cool list.

The concept is a pretty simple one. Picture yourself in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by millions of flesh-eating zombies… Besides the essentials, like some form of basic protection, avoiding being bitten wherever you can, and shelter – you’re also going to need a mode of transport. Hyundai has lent its name and the Elantra’s likeness to the idea of creating the ultimate anti-zombie vehicle.

Standard equipment includes a massive metal plough to help get through masses of mindless bloodsuckers, blade-equipped alloys to cut those clawing at the windows in half (if that fails, there’s always the metal plate over the windows), and a latch sunroof that’ll enable someone to shoot/beat down the really desperate parasites if need be.
