While the Australian “Bogan” culture – which denotes the often beer-swilling, flannel shirt-clad and regularly Holden Commodore-owning lower-echelon of Antipodean society – may not be a force to be reckoned with in the realms of automotive innovation, there is evidence to suggest that a spark of technological creativity is making itself known… albeit in a somewhat misguided manner.

Prompted by what its creator, Rick Werner, described as “far too much time on my hands and far too much to drink”, the motorised toilet has finally seen the light of day on Australia’s Gold Coast…
