Seeing as large gatherings of Ferrari supercars appear to be in fashion at the moment (this is what 964 Prancing Stallions look like together), and that Shell Helix has sponsored another five cool hampers to give away, we’ve decided to use this rather pretty new Shell Supercars TV ad as the “vehicle” to give away these prizes. Here’s a hint, the answers to the next five questions will all come from the videos below. By the way, as the videos below illustrate, the scale of this project was huge – filming on three continents – and all for an (admittedly pretty) 30-second TV ad! The pitch of this “proud drivers” campaign is that if you use Shell Helix in your car, it will feel like a Ferrari… Well, it’s meant in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way, of course. As Andrew Evans, Shell South Africa’s Commercial Marketing Manager explains: “When your car is performing well, you feel like you are driving one of the best cars on the road. This is the ‘pride’ Shell Helix wants all car owners to feel.”
